Team India likely to reach home on Thursday
Earlier it was anticipated that ‘The AIC 24 World Champion’ flight will take off from the Barbados airport in the early hours of Wednesday and will fly out directly to New Delhi. However, at least at the time of writing, the Indian team had not taken off from the Grantley Adams International Airport. It will approximately be a 15-16 hour journey carrying the players, their families, and the BCCI officials including Secretary Jay Shah, President Roger Binny and Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar.
Considering the Indian team leaves Barbados during the daytime, their potential arrival back in the nation could see them land at around 4 AM IST on Thursday.
Alongside the officials of the BCCI, players and their families, Secretary Jay Shah has also aided the stranded Indian media to board the flight. It is anticipated that around 20 Indian journalists who were left stranded in Barbados will also return with Team India back home in the wee hours of Thursday.
