Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor, Gurucharan Singh is safe and back home. The actor who is known for playing the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the famous daily soap, has finally returned home after weeks of disappearance.
The actor returned home to Delhi on Friday (May 17). Upon being interrogated by the police over his sudden disappearance, the actor said that he was on a ”religious journey.” The Police have recorded his statement before a local court.
Police officials in a statement said that in the past few weeks, Gurucharan visited many cities like Amritsar and Ludhiana, before deciding to return home. The first picture of the actor post his disappearance has emerged online. Shared by news agency ANI, the photo showed Taarak Mehta actor happily posing with a police officer.

Gurucharan Singh’s missing case
Singh went missing on April 22 from Delhi’s Palam area, after he left his father’s home to catch the flight to Mumbai. After failing to reach him for days, his father lodged a missing complaint.
In the past two weeks, Delhi Police rigorously searched for the actor, even visited the set of Taarak Mehta in Mumbai and questioned Singh’s former co-stars, as reported by News18.
Reportedly, they questioned actor Samay Shah, Jennifer Mistry, Mandar Chandwadkar and the show’s producer, Asit Modi.
