Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding continues to dominate headlines. Reports alleging conflict in the Sinha family due to Sonakshi’s interfaith marriage are all over the internet. Amidst this, Luv Sinha’s absence from his sister’s wedding added more fuel to the gossip.
Shatrughan Sinha breaks silence on family conflict
Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha has broken his silence on claims of family conflict and addressed his son Luv’s absence from Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding.
Calling out the trolls, the actor said, it’s a ‘vicious smear campaign’ against his family.
Speaking to Times Now, the actor said, “Bahaut bade bade crises dekhe hain humne. Aur yeh toh kuch bhi nahin (We have seen many big crises. This is nothing).”
Talking about conflict in his family and Sonakshi’s interfaith marriage, he said, “There was absolutely nothing to worry about. We were like any ordinary family with a wedding happening. Just why we became a target of so much attention, you will know better than me.” He added, “We didn’t ask for it. This is not the first time that such a marriage (interfaith) was happening. Our family was subjected to the most vicious smear campaign.”
Before the wedding, Shatrughan himself confirmed the reports of a family conflict that started after the veteran actor said that he was not aware of his daughter’s wedding. However, later he revealed that everything was sorted.
Speaking more on the rumours, the actor said, “Let me make this clear. I won’t tolerate my family being attacked. Family matters should stay within the family. Like I said, kaun se parivar mein disagreements nahi hote? (Which family does not have disagreements?) We may disagree and argue on certain issues. But at the end of the day, we are one family. And no one can break us.”
Luv slams trolls after skipping Sonakshi’s wedding
A few days ago, Sonakshi’s brother Luv slammed the online campaign against his family over his alleged absence from his sister’s wedding with Zaheer.
He wrote on X, ”Why I chose not to attend. Running an online campaign against me on a false premise won’t change the fact that for me my family will always come first.”
