Talking to KENS, she said she was walking towards the children’s store when she noticed a young boy in the car next to her.
Recalling the incident, she told the news outlet that her “mother’s instinct” kicked in, and she decided to look inside the car and saw another child. She then asked the store employees to call 911.
Meanwhile, she tried the car’s doors. Upon finding one unlocked, she helped the children get out of the car, which as per reports would have had inside temperatures of around 130° F (outside temperature was between 98-100 degrees).
The children were transported to hospital for treatment and Child protective services were notified about the incident, said the police.
