Iran-backed Hezbollah has released a video showing sensitive Israeli targets as the Israeli military tempted war with the Lebanese militant group, Iranian state media reported early Sunday (June 23). The sites were identified as vital Israeli targets only known to Israel’s security apparatus, a report by PressTV said.
The video was released just a few days after Hezbollah released footage of its surveillance aircraft flying over swathes of Israel.
The militant group described the video as only the first episode of what was yet to come.
What are the Israeli sites in the video?
The sites shown in the latest video include the research centre at Israel’s Dimona nuclear reactor in the Negev Desert, the Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, and Nevatim Airbase.
Also shown are the HaKirya complex in Tel Aviv — which houses Israel’s Ministry of Security as well as the Ramat David Airbase, and the Karish Gas Field off Lebanon’s coast.
Hezbollah has been trading fire with Israel for more than eight months in parallel with the Gaza war which started in early October last year.
Israel strikes Hezbollah targets in Lebanon
The latest footage by Hezbollah came hours after the Israeli Army released a video showing strikes on Hezbollah targets in various areas of southern Lebanon amid concerns about further cross-border escalations.

A caption on the Telegram post accompanying the footage said the strikes targeted an observation post in Ayta ash Shab as well as a military structure in Yaroun. The Israeli Army said that the militants were operating from both buildings.
“In addition, IAF fighter jets struck a Hezbollah military structure in the area of Ramyeh in southern Lebanon. Throughout the day, IDF troops fired to remove threats in the areas of Ayta ash Shab, Jibbain, and Tallouseh,” the Telegram caption said.
